Jeffrey Herlings wins both motos British Championship Hawkstone Park
Jeffrey Herlings won both motos of the British Championship at Hawkstone Park on Sunday. Herlings was too strong for the competition in both the first and second moto and won with a safe margin.
In practice, the Hawkstone Park circuit was still in fast condition. The pace was high and the differences were small. Herlings managed to set a good time on the clock and took pole position.
In the two motos that followed, Herlings rode strongly and had a high pace. He won both motos and won both the first and second moto with a lead of more than 25 seconds.
With a double moto victory, Jeffrey won the day’s classification and has managed to further extend his lead in the standings. This weekend, the fifteenth race of the world championship is scheduled for Herlings in Uddevalla, Sweden.
