Jeffrey Herlings Building Up Race Rhythm at ADAC In Germany
Jeffrey Herlings of the Red Bull KTM team finished second at the ADAC MX Masters event in Möggers, Austria. This was his last preparatory race before lining up for a world championship event for the first time this year in Russia next weekend.
Herlings opted to participate in the event to get himself into top form before his GP kick-off. He qualified second on Saturday, ensuring himself of a good gate.
Clearly not fully on form yet, Herlings scored two second places during the races on Sunday. In the first heat, he finished 20 seconds behind the winner, but in the second race he managed to slink the gap to 7.5 seconds. He also posted the fastest lap time during this race.
With second overall, Jeffrey had taken from the event what he wanted, and he will be all the more prepared when the world championship series resumes in Russia next weekend.
