Successful collarbone surgery for Jeffrey Herlings

Jeffrey Herlings of the Red Bull KTM Factory Team has had a successful surgery on his broken collarbone this morning. The plan is to be back racing at round eleven of the World MX2 Series in Uddevalla, Sweden in two weeks time. Jeffrey and the team will look day by day but normally he will be able to race in Sweden.

Despite the fact that he didn’t score points yesterday, he still has an advantage of 100 points over Tim Gajser in the World Championship Standings. At this points there are still eight rounds to go and one of them will be held in Assen, the Netherlands on the 30th of August.
